2011 marks the 400th Anniversary of the Authorized King James Bible published in England. I was delighted to discover that information recently. Why? The Tabernacle for a Shadow Book verses are all in the Authorized 1611 King James Version of the Bible. This book enhances your experience of God's Word with beautiful photos!
The Authorized King James Version is an English translation of the Christian Bible commissioned by King James I in 1604 and completed in 1611. The KJV Bible was the work of a team of 47 of the best Bible scholars of the day, all of whom were members of the Church of England. The New Testament was translated from Greek and the Old Testament was translated from Hebrew text. It quickly spread across the English-speaking world and remains the dominant Protestant scriptural standard by which many Protestant believers judge all other versions of Scripture. Many historians consider the King James Bible to be the single most important publication in all of history and it is widely considered to be the best-selling volume in history! Even though the KJV Bible originated in England, the whole Protestant Christian world is planning celebrations this year.King James Bible Trust is an organization established to lead the 400th anniversary celebration. For more information just Google “King James Bible Trust” or In the United States there is a King James 2011 Expo to be held in Washington D.C. on May 2nd and 3rd. Thank you for sharing your website...what a blessing and nice compliment to the book! I love Tabernacle for a Shadow - the images are so beautiful and inspiring. Also, I realized I am only just beginning to understand the depth and power of this book - there is so much here to be revealed! And of course I am honored to know Susan (the author) personally. She has been more than a great friend - my mentor and the one who led me to Jesus! It has been a pleasure watching her embark on this journey, complete the book, and then share it with so many people. God is awesome!
