2011 marks the 400th Anniversary of the Authorized King James Bible published in England. I was delighted to discover that information recently. Why? The Tabernacle for a Shadow Book verses are all in the Authorized 1611 King James Version of the Bible. This book enhances your experience of God's Word with beautiful photos!
The Authorized King James Version is an English translation of the Christian Bible commissioned by King James I in 1604 and completed in 1611. The KJV Bible was the work of a team of 47 of the best Bible scholars of the day, all of whom were members of the Church of England. The New Testament was translated from Greek and the Old Testament was translated from Hebrew text.
It quickly spread across the English-speaking world and remains the dominant Protestant scriptural standard by which many Protestant believers judge all other versions of Scripture. Many historians consider the King James Bible to be the single most important publication in all of history and it is widely considered to be the best-selling volume in history!
Even though the KJV Bible originated in England, the whole Protestant Christian world is planning celebrations this year.King James Bible Trust is an organization established to lead the 400th anniversary celebration.
