Why am I here? It's a question I asked the unknown God, which at the time, was just asking "the air above or the universe." I didn't know the God of the Bible. I didn't know Jesus.
"You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." Matthew 22:37:
When I finally came to know Jesus, my purpose was given to me in 2005, after a lifetime of desperate seeking: “To follow the Lord wherever He leads me. I am to be a shining light that inspires others to seek the kingdom of God. I may use my past experiences, photography, biblical verses, graphics or any other creative means to teach the wisdom of God to all. I am to be like a clear pool that reflects not only the pure love, wisdom, mercy and grace of the Lord, but also to be a refreshing drink of cold water to thirsty dying soul.”
Published in 2009, “Tabernacle for a Shadow” is God’s fulfillment of part of that purpose. It is indeed the refreshing drink of cold water to a thirsty dying soul. The Word of God in the universal language of pictures.

This was my life. The gospel was hidden from me. The god* of this world (satan**) blinded the minds of me and my family so that I was not taught the truth of Jesus Christ.
The arch enemy of good (satan**) convinced me that God hated me, condemned me to die, and there was no way out. It was a difficult 50-year journey for me to discover the truth of God’s love for me; but during 25 of those years, I took pictures of the beauty in nature, never knowing God had a plan to use them.
Tabernacle for a Shadow is a glorious view of the Creator revealed in His creation as seen through the eyes of His chosen vessel – me! May each of the photographs of the 66 books of the King James Bible inspire your spirit as you become engrossed in His Word as it is reflected in His created world.
There is no commentary from me once the journey through His Word in pictures begins. It’s not about me. Yet, it is a reflection of my life AFTER accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. Please join with me on a visual journey that will envelop you in God’s love. There is much to see in HIS WORLD!

(* Greek word is theos referring to a deity other than God the Creator and Ruler of the world)
(** I know that the word Satan is capitalized in the New Testament and should be capitalized to be technically correct. However, in the Old Testament the Hebrew word satan is not capitalized. I choose not to give honor to satan by capitalizing his name. He's the devil -- a god, not God.)
