Building His House.
It takes time to build a house.
 Jesus Christ is the foundation

ISAIAH 66:1

Thus saith the LORD, THE HEAVEN IS MY THRONE, AND THE EARTH IS MY FOOTSTOOL; WHERE IS THE HOUSE THAT YE BUILD UNTO ME? AND WHERE IS THE PLACE OF MY REST?

Isaiah 28:16

Therefore, thus saith the Lord God, BEHOLD, I LAY IN ZION FOR A FOUNDATION A STONE, A TRIED STONE, A PRECIOUS CORNER STONE, A SURE FOUNDATION: HE THAT BELIEVETH SHALL NOT MAKE HASTE.
August 2, 1015.    Sometimes we need to update the house or even remodel, or some may want to build a totally new house. Still the foundation must be the same - Jesus Christ.
So, Lord, how do I show that you are the foundation in a photograph?
August 4, 2015. Well, Lord, it appears you answered my prayer for how to show that you are the foundation in a photograph. Today You led me back to the photograph I took in 1989. (see photo at the bottom (foundation) of the page!)

Hebrews 8:10

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

TABERNACLE

In the title of the book, taken from Isaiah 4:6, the word "tabernacle" is an English translation of the Hebrew word cuwcah (pronounced sook-kaw)  which means "hut or lair."  The same Hebrew word is also translated into these English words: booth, cottage, covert, den, pavilion.

SHADOW

The word "shadow" is an English  translation from the Hebrew word tsel (pronounced tsale) which means "shade", whether literally or figuratively. It is also translated into the English word defense.

In the Old Testament, Moses was told to make a "tabernacle" or the "tent of the testimony."
Now we are the "tabernacles" that contain the "testimony." The Holy Spirit testifies of Christ.
When you accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you are given the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God.
Now you are to live in the Spirit following His will.

Matthew 25:31-34

WHEN THE SON OF MAN SHALL COME IN HIS GLORY, AND ALL THE HOLY ANGELS WITH HIM, THEN SHALL HE SIT UPON THE THRONE OF HIS GLORY: AND BEFORE HIM SHALL BE GATHERED ALL NATIONS: AND HE SHALL SEPARATE THEM ONE FROM ANOTHER, AS A SHEPHERD DIVIDETH HIS SHEEP FROM THE GOATS: AND HE SHALL SET THE SHEEP ON HIS RIGHT HAND, BUT THE GOATS ON THE LEFT. THEN SHALL THE KING SAY UNTO THEM ON HIS RIGHT HAND, COME, YE BLESSED OF MY FATHER, INHERIT THE KINGDOM PREPARED FOR YOU FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD:

1 CORINTHIANS 3:9-15

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

 2 Timothy 2:19-22

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

The Foundation

Jesus Christ is the solid rock which should be our foundation. This picture is from the Tabernacle for a Shadow book and refers to Isaiah 1:15-18. You can see the verse on the sample pages.
